Barbara  I've known Barbara as both a personal yoga instructor and as a fellow teacher (she taught yoga/movement at the Fleetwood Theatre Summer Camp). In both cases, I found her to be encouraging, positive and nurturing. There is no doubt she knows her material and is thorough in her instruction. Barbara  I joined Barbara Preminger's yoga class in April 2007 as part of my stress management program. Soon her class turned out to be my most effective tool by far for stress reduction.Some of the health benefits of Barbara's yoga class are easy to measure and quantify: in the first few months my blood pressure consistently dropped after the class by 20 points. Now it remains stable in normal range at all times even after I stopped taking the blood pressure medications and thus avoided their harmful side effects. Other health benefits may be more difficult to quantify but may be just as important: I
have more energy, I am more productive, I have better concentration. I attribute these results to Barbara's careful selection and combination of poses, exercises and relaxation. Barbara pays personal attention to every participant and to every detail, her cheerful nature provides for friendly and cordial atmosphere. My only concern now is how to survive the summer vacation without the benefits of Barbara's yoga class.

Barbara   I'm very happy to have the opportunity to say how much I appreciate Barbara's classes. Barbara   Barbara was my first yoga teacher and though I have practiced with many other teachers, I continue to come back to her classes. Barbara is a very experienced teacher and can successfully teach the most mixed level class. Barbara's expertise allows her to provide a variety of modifications for any type of yoga student. She is also not the teacher that will sit in the front of the room and just rattle off poses, but will actually model for you and provide the perfect amount of adjustments to your form. Barbara welcomes all questions and concerns in her class. She always reminds her students
of the mindful part of yoga and that we are not just here to work up a sweat. Her care for her students is always present. You feel like you have had a private yoga session in even the most crowded classes.
